The owners of Advanced Research hold 100 ton USCG Masters licenses and they are responsible for the corporation's maritime training and certification programs. Areas of focus include engineering, evaluation, installation, and training of:
- voice and data communications systems (VHF, SSB, satellite)
- software and/or hardware based navigation solutions
